The Rainbow Chicken Union (RCU) is a worker-led labor movement created by and for Chick-fil-A employees who believe everyone deserves respect, safety, and dignity—no matter who they are or who they love.

We exist because the people who make the food, clean the floors, greet the guests, and sweat through the lunch rush deserve more than silence when discrimination happens. We believe LGBTQ+ workers are just as worthy of fair treatment as anyone else. If you’ve ever felt like you had to hide who you are to keep your job, this union is for you.

We don’t just cluck about change—we organize it.
What the Law Says
Every worker—gay, straight, trans, or anything in between—deserves equal respect and safety on the job.
🏳️‍🌈 Being LGBTQ+ is not a sin. Discriminating against LGBTQ+ people is.
📢 Workers have the right to organize, speak out, and demand better. That’s not rebellion—it’s protected by federal law.
🛡️ You cannot legally be fired, disciplined, or punished for:
Talking about unfair treatment
Sharing union information
Advocating for your rights
Wearing pins, posting fliers, or starting a group chat
These rights are guaranteed by the National Labor Relations Act, and they apply to you—even if you work at a fast food restaurant.

If anyone tries to intimidate you for speaking up, they’re not just wrong—they’re breaking the law.
